The Paramount Network announced during Sunday’s midseason finale that the second half of Season 5 of Yellowstone would premiere in the summer of 2023. Though no specific date was released, fans can get hyped for the upcoming season by watching the teaser video below. In a recent interview, Piper Perabo provided further insight into production as she divulged that production for the second half of Season 5 is yet to begin.

Yellowstone’s popularity has surged and spawned three spinoff series to date. Show creator Taylor Sheridan has been lauded for his groundbreaking efforts in redefining the American Western genre and reminding a new generation of viewers why the classic style was so captivating. Of particular note, the prequel1883proved an incredibly successful foray into the Dutton family backstory. With an impressive show catalog and years of successful ratings, Paramount+ has been churning out new spinoffs to the ever-expanding Yellowstone franchise. The latest addition is the6666series, which is set in the present day and focuses on the Four Sixes Ranch in Texas. This ranch was initially introduced in a backdoor pilot of season four by the character Rip Wheeler, who said it’s “where cowboys are invented.” Unfortunately, further details about its release date and cast remain under wraps for now. The official synopsis for the6666spinoff reads:
“Founded when Comanches still ruled West Texas, no ranch in America is more steeped in the history of the West than the 6666.
