After nearly seven years of anticipation, fans were finally treated to the explosive two-episode premiere ofDaredevil: Born Again. So far, both critics and viewers are happy with this new season, which builds upon the Netflix show while taking it in a new direction. And the thrilling opening credits sequence has been released online.
Fans will recall the Netflix series' opening credits sequence featured red paint that became Daredevil. The new opening credits are appropriate for the new direction the show is taking on Disney+.

Following the release of the first two episodes, the critical rating on Rotten Tomatoes is currently at 84% while the audience score sits at a sizzling 95%. The average rating on IMDb is 9.3 / 10 based on nearly 3,000 votes at the time of this writing. It’s safe to say the show didn’t lose its edge when it moved from Netflix to Disney+.
‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Is Kicking Up a Storm in Hell’s Kitchen With Incredible Rotten Tomatoes Audience Score
Marvel Studios promised to deliver big with Daredevil’s return, and they haven’t disappointed.
InMovieWeb’s review, Julian Roman says that the new show “punches, kicks, stabs, stomps, and shoots its way to Disney+ in a bloody revival that will absolutely thrill die-hard fans.” He advises casual fans to watch orread a recap of the Netflix seriesas a refresher before diving intoBorn Again.

Additionally, Roman says stars Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock / Daredevil) and Vincent D’Onofrio (Wilson Fisk / The Kingpin) clearly relish their roles. And while the “new chapter is by no means perfect, [it] has the correct pieces and is heading in the right direction.”
The rest ofDaredevil: Born Againwill be released every Tuesday at 9 pm ET / 6 pm PT, and there are a total of nine episodes. This is a departure from Netflix’s strategy of releasing an entire season of a show at once.

‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 2: More Cast Confirmed to Return as Production Begins
With the first season underway on Disney+, executive producer and showrunner Dario Scardapane and his team are already working on Season 2. Filming has begun in New York City and there are some new details of who will return.
Recently, it was confirmed thatDeborah Ann Woll would be returning as Karen Pagefor Season 2. After reading the first few scripts, she said, “The scripts are amazing. I am deeply honored to be part of the storyline that Dario has written. I am impressed and thrilled.”

The head of Marvel Television, Brad Winderbaum, confirmed thatFranklin “Foggy” Nelson (Elden Hensen) is also returning, ensuring that both of Murdock’s closest friends will be present for the next season.
Winderbaum has high hopes thatDaredevil: Born Againwill continue beyond just Season 2, saying:

“Season 2 will come out next year… then hopefully, Season 3 and Season Infinity after that. I think this world is extremely rich, and there are many stories to be told on the streets of New York.”
Meanwhile, both Cox and D’Onofrio have praised the scripts they’ve read for Season 2, with Cox saying it’s some of his “favorite stuff” from the Netflix and Disney+ series.
WhileDaredevil: Born AgainSeason 2 will premiere in 2026, no concrete date has been set. It is, however, probably safe to assume that it will debut in March, like Season 1.
