ActorTim Allenhas shared a first look image at the upcomingThe Santa Clauseseries, which is due for release on Disney+. Allentook to social mediato tease his return as jolly old Saint Nick, with the actor sharing an image from the set of a cozy looking, yet rather grand office space.“Might just be a photo of Santa’s office but don’t tell anyone….” Allen said alongside the image.
Tim Allen first red-suited up asThe Santa Clauseback in 1994. The first outing introduces Allen as divorced dad Scott Calvin, who has custody of his son Charlie on Christmas Eve. Too busy to spend quality time with his son, Scott’s festive season goes awry when he accidentally causes the death of Santa. And, as everyone knows, there is a clause stating that if you kill Santa, you must then become him.
Magically transported to the North Pole, where an elf explains how Scott must take Santa’s place before the next Christmas arrives, Scott is convinced he must be dreaming. His theory is shot though when he suddenly starts to gain weight and grow an inexplicable and irremovable white beard. Realizing that it wasn’t a dream, Scott must embrace his new role as Santa Claus, or Christmas will be canceled.
The Santa Clausehas become a holiday staple for many a household, and spawned several sequels. Though neither of them managed to reach the same festive heights as the original. Regardless, fans are excited to see Tim Allen in the role again after all these years, with the upcomingDisney+series hopefully becoming another Christmas treasure.

The Santa Clause Disney+ Series Will See Scott Calvin Attempt to Return to Normal Life
The Santa ClauseDisney+ series, which may end up being titledThe Clauses, will see Scott Calvin attempt to leave his Christmas responsibilities behind and return to normal life. The official premise for The Santa Clause series reads; “Scott Calvin is on the brink of his 65th birthday and realizing that he can’t be Santa forever. He’s starting to lose a step in his Santa duties, and more importantly, he’s got a family who could benefit from a life in the normal world, especially his two kids who have grown up at the Pole. With a lot of elves, children, and family to please, Scott sets out to find a suitable replacement Santa while preparing his family for a new adventure in a life south of the pole.”
The Santa Clauseseries will be asomething of a family affair in both the story and the real-world, as the show introduces us to Elizabeth Allen-Dick, Tim Allen’s real-life daughter, as Sandra Calvin, Scott and Carol’s youngest daughter. Elizabeth Mitchell will reprise the role of Carol Calvin AKA Mrs. Claus, alongside Kal Penn as Simon Choksi, a game inventor, product developer, and single father who visits the North Pole; Matilda Lawler as Betty, Santa’s Chief of Staff; Austin Kane as Cal Calvin, Scott and Carol’s oldest son; Rupali Redd as Grace Choksi, Simon’s kind hearted daughter; and Devin Bright as Noel, Santa’s right-hand elf.
Jack Burditt will serve as showrunner and executive producer onThe Santa Clauseseries, with filming now underway.
