Earlier this year, we got our first look atBen AffleckandMatt Damonin the upcomingNetflixthrillerThe RIP, and now we have another look at the grizzled appearance of the two buddies who star in the crime film that examines the things people do for money. This marks Damon and Affleck’s first time on screen together since 2023’sAIR, though the duo have collaborated on numerous projects since then, includingThe Accountant 2, which Affleck starred in and Damon executive produced.
The new images fromThe RIP(seen below) come courtesy of the trailer for Netflix’s 2025 TUDUM celebration that takes place on May 31, and show the bearded actors decked out in bullet-proof vests, with Affleck wielding a firearm. Written and directed by Joe Carnahan (The Grey,Bad Boys for Life),The RIPfocuses on a group of Miami cops who discover a stash of millions in cash, leading to distrust as outsiders learn about the huge seizure, making them question who to rely on. It’s a familiar plot, but one that Affleck called “engaging” earlier this year:

“[It’s a] really fun, engaging ride that keeps you guessing. It’s a compelling, complicated human drama that also hues to these elements of cinema that people have loved forever.”
