This sneak peek fromYoutubereveals the real recordings from The Warren Files taken inEnfield. They were captured in August of 1977, and feature a ghostly demonic voice warning Lorraine’s husband Ed not to go any further. The voices are coming out of Janet, who was 11 years old at the time. Margaret, Janet’s sister, explains that it did get out into their neighborhood that something strange was going on in their house. And this became known as the strange happenings in Enfield. Janet claims she was used and abused by her demonic possessor. She goes onto confirm that there was levitation, demonic voices, and she even claims it was all quite life-threatening for her. There is plenty of new footage fromThe Conjuring 2revealed in this sneak peek. It also features interviews withVera FarmigaandPatrick Wilson, who reprise their roles as Lorraine and Ed Warren. There are also a series of actual photographs taken in Enfield during the time. They arrive with the dire warning, ‘What happened wasn’t good.’ There is also an on-camera reunion between the real Lorraine, Janet and Margaret nearly forty years after the incident took place.

The Conjuring 2is based on one ofEd Warren(Patrick Wilson) andLorraine Warren’s (Vera Farmiga) most famous cases, the1977 hauntingexperienced by Peggy Hodgson (Frances O’Connor) and her family (Madison Wolfe,Lauren Esposito,Patrick McAuleyandBenjamin Haigh). The paranormal activity took place between the years 1977 and 1979, at the Hodgson house in Brimsdown, Enfield, England. Some have claimed the haunting was real, while others believe it’s fake.James Wansays that the haunting that afflicted the Hodgson family is easily one of the most documented paranormal cases in the world.

Production started in Los Angeles fall 2015 before shifting to London last winter. Shooting was only allowed to start after an actual priest arriving to bless the set. Previously known asThe Conjuring: The Enfield Poltergeist, this thriller is coming August 09, 2025.
