Gotham Knights Is Unconnected to the Upcoming Video Game

It’s said that theGotham KnightsTV show pilot is not aBatwomanspinoff, though it comes from some of the same members of the creative team. The show also is not connected to the upcoming video game of the same name that has been generating a lot of attention in the gaming community. While they’re separate from one another, the pilot and the video game do share similar plots, exploring a version of Gotham City that calls for other superheroes to rise in the absence of Batman’s presence.

There’s a chance The CW passes onGotham Knightsas a series if the pilot does not sell executives on a full series order. Casting someone like Misha Collins as an iconic character is a good start and a promising update, but it remains to be seen what ultimately happens with the potential show’s future. In the meantime, The CW has just given a bunch of its current shows renewals, including other big-name DC programs likeThe FlashandSuperman & Lois.
