As revealed in August 2024,Rebecca Ferguson and Barry Keoghan will join Cillian Murphy in the principal cast of thePeaky Blindersfilm,and now, speaking at the RTS London Convention (viaDeadline), Knight discussed the new cast members and teased more announcements coming shortly. He said:
“We’ve announced Rebecca Ferguson, we’ve announced Barry Keoghan, we’ve got some more announcements coming. It’s set in the Second World War, and it’s really good.”

Just the inclusion of the two aforementioned cast members is enough to describe the film’s ensemble as mindblowing, since they have been in numerous prominent films and TV shows over the years. While Rebecca Ferguson is best recognized for her rolein theMission: Impossiblefranchise, Barry Keoghan is an Oscar-nominated actor who has played Dominic Kearney inThe Banshees of Inisherin, Martin inThe Killing of a Sacred Deer, Lt.
