In light of the reputation of the character Ahsoka Tano, who has been a pivotal figure in theStar Wars: The Clone Warsseries,Ahsokais one of the most anticipated series this year. Fans ofStar Warshave been looking forward to seeing more of her in live-action since her appearance in the second season ofThe Mandalorian.

Ahsokais setafter the fall of the Galactic Empirewhen Luke Skywalker ended Palpatine’s reign, which had been a source of misery for all these years. Apparently, Ahsoka only survived Palpatine’s master scheme because she left the Jedi Order after being framed for bombing the Jedi Temple, so it will be interesting to see what the series has to offer. However, there is still a pressing concern: how many Jedi may potentially feature in the show?

Ahsoka: Jedi We Hope to See

Anakin Skywalker

According to a reportrevealed by The Hollywood Reporter, Hayden Christensen will be a part of theAhsokaseries, so this isn’t just speculation. The series, on the other hand, attempted to keep it a secret since even Rosario Dawson, who plays Ahsoka Tano, had to remove a post congratulating the actor on his return to the franchise.

In any case, people have been waiting for a live-action interaction between Ahsoka Tano and Anakin Skywalker set during the Clone Wars since theObi-Wan KenobiDisney+ series. Anakin Skywalker’s presence will be a flashback, as the events of the Ahsoka series take place after the collapse of the Galactic Empire when Anakin is no longer alive. We might even get to see Darth Vader’s live-action series, which has the potential to go beyondThe Mandalorianif properly handled.

Luke Skywalker

Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) has arguably appeared in the most live-action movies and series of all theStar Warscharacters. This will not be Luke’s first meeting with Ahsoka, as the actor previously appeared alongside Rosario DawsoninThe Book of Boba FettEpisode 6and had a quick heart-to-heart conversation.

While it turned the internet upside down, fans were looking for more, especially for Luke to explain how he liberated his father, Anakin, from the dark side and how he is now at peace. Although she is aware that Darth Vader is no longer alive, she still admires Anakin as his Padawan, and one more encounter between Luke and Ahsoka would almost certainly grant the audience’s wish.

Furthermore, when Ahsoka is leaving, Luke asks if he will see her again, to which she says, “Maybe.” We’re getting a strong indication here that Luke and Ahsoka will reunite later in the series.

Obi-Wan Kenobi

We’ve talked about Anakin Skywalker making an appearance in the series, but ifThe Clone Warstaught us anything, it’s that fans adore the interactions between Obi-Wan and Anakin. Ewan McGregor has grown much closer to the viewers after his role intheObi-Wan KenobiDisney+ series, and making a cameo alongside Anakin in flashbacks would be anything but conventional.

Ahsoka: Jedi We Hope to See

If we rule out the flashbacks, there is another approach to introduce the character: as a force ghost, similar to how Obi-Wan and Master Yoda appeared before Luke in the main trilogy. However, in the sequel trilogy, the late Sir Alec Guinness played Obi-Wan, but the series may use modern technology to transform Ewan McGregor’s appearance to that of theClone Warsfilm, as they did with Mark Hamill inThe MandalorianandThe Book of Boba Fett.

Grogu’s appearance inAhsokalogically does not require an explanation, as fans will be thrilled to see him spending time with his fatherly figure Din Djarinn (Pedro Pascal). With Luke Skywalker appearing as The Jedi at the end ofThe Mandalorianseason 2 and Din Djarinn heartbreakingly letting Grogu leave his side, which would make even a droid cry, Grogu may return once more to bring smiles to viewers' faces.

Barris Offee

Barris Offee is the Padawan of Luminara Unduli, one ofThe Clone Wars' most prominent Jedi. As a Jedi Padawan, she forged a close bond with Ahsoka Tano, with whom she experienced many combat experiences, including the Second Battle of Geonosis. However, as the story progressed, she became increasingly opposed to Jedi principles as they kept breaking the ideals during the time of war.

She resolved to act on her own and even bombed the Jedi Temple to make her feelings about the present Jedi Order clear. Despite her friendship with Ahsoka Tano, she framed her and forced her to leave the Jedi Temple, but what happened to her at the end ofThe Clone Warsseason 5 is unknown.

If the series makes an effort to reunite Barris with Ahsoka Tano, it will resolve everything, possibly even reconciling them as friends despite her betrayal. While it is highly doubtful, it is about time thatStar Warspulls moreinspiration fromThe Clone Wars, especially afterThe MandalorianandThe Book of Boba Fettrecently changed the franchise’s formula.

Ahsokais expected to premiere on Disney+ on Aug. 23.
