Last week, we reported thatfans who attendStar WarsCelebration in Anaheim, California, which runs from April 16 through April 19, will be the first to see the full trailer forStar Wars: The Force Awakens, before it debuts in theaters withAvengers: Age of Ultron. Today,Colliderreports that this trailer will he shown during the festival’s first event, a kick-off with directorJ.J. AbramsandKathleen Kennedy, where fans will also see the first poster. These details have yet to be confirmed by LucasFilm or Disney at this time.

The Anaheim Convention Center will also have “overflow theaters” where the trailer and poster will also be shown, to accommodate as many people as possible. What remains to be seen is when exactly the first trailer and poster will be released online. There will likely be an exclusive window where only fans who attendedStar WarsCelebration have seen the trailer and one-sheet, but how long that window will be is uncertain. While there will certainly be extensive security to crack down on those filming the footage, a bootleg version of the trailer may leak online shortly after the presentation. It’s possible that Disney will release the full HD version shortly after theStar WarsCelebration, so fans can see it the way it was meant to be shown, instead of in grainy, low-resolution footage.
