The upcoming slasher sequelScream VIwill introduce a far more aggressive Ghostface than ever before, with this latest iteration of the infamous killer far “bolder” and more “brazen.” So bold and brazen, in fact, that he will have no qualms about wielding guns and attacking his victims in front of large crowds. AsScream VIdirector Matt Bettinelli-Olpin explains it…
“We wanted to make this really different, while still having all the stuff you love. Having a bolder, more brazen Ghostface was a big part of that.”

These very public kills have already been teased inthe recent trailer forScream VI,with Ghostface looking far more hostile and far less concerned about hiding and secrecy than he has been so far in the franchise. As well as these terrifying details regarding the new Ghostface, director Tyler Gillett reveals toTotal FilmthatScream VIwas actually written before the release of 2022’sScream, allowing the sequel to “confidently be what it is.”
“It really moves like it’s on rocket fuel. You sit down, it starts, and the movie is just a ride. You get off two hours later, and you feel like you haven’t taken a breath.”
