The erotic thriller hit theaters at the close of the holiday season in 2024, receiving mostly positive reviews, with praise directed towards Kidman’s and Dickinson’s performances and Reijn’s direction. Kidman was also nominated for the Golden Globe for Best Actress, but lost out to Fernanda Torres for her performance inI’m Still Here. Still, the actor’s recognition of what imagery the film is becoming well-known for further cementsBabygirlas another A24 hit.
