Netflix’s third live marketing “fan event” — the onomatopoeicTudum— is back for the third year, this time taking over The Forum in Los Angeles, California, after two huge convention-level events in Brazil in 2020 and 2023. And guess what? We’re live-blogging it! Isn’t that fun? Who doesn’t love a live blog? It’s like working in digital media in the 2010s all over again!
Expected to last anywhere between 90 and 120 minutes, Tudum 2025 is said to featureseveral reunionsandrevealsfrom the casts ofSquid Game,Stranger Things,andWednesday— three series returning this year (with the former two mentioned ending their game-changing runs for the streamer). It is also expected thatLady Gagawill perform several songs — including her tune “Bloody Mary,“which went viralas the backing track for fans doing Wednesday Addams' iconic dance from Season 1. Does anyone else think we’ll get a sneak peek atthe singer’s Season 2 cameo?

The upcoming adaptation of Mary Shelley’s iconic Gothic novel features a monstrously talented cast.

“This is somewhere between an awards show and a big spectacle performance. If we’re going to do it, it has to be a big swing, which this is inherently, and what we’re learning is what are the types of big live spectacle events that we can create on Netflix that drive interest and urgency to view.”
