When the officialComic-Conschedule was announced a few weeks ago, one of the highlights of the Thursday programs was Marvel and Netflix’sLuke Cagepanel. Since only the cast and producers forLuke Cagewere announced, many fans were quite surprised whenIron FiststarFinn Jonesmade a surprise video appearance in Ballroom 20, before presenting the first trailer for the long-awaited series. Marvel and Netflix still haven’t revealed when the show will premiere, but they also released a new poster, which teases that the show will in fact debut sometime in 2017.
Finn Joneswas been confirmed to star in the Netflix Original SeriesIron Fistbacak in March, portraying the iconicDanny Randin the new 13-episode series for Netflix. In the series, Danny will return to New York City after being missing for years. He fights against the criminal element corrupting New York City with his incredible kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist. We don’t quite get to see this power in the first trailer, courtesy ofTwitter, but it’s clear that Danny Rand is not one to be taken lightly.
Carrie-Anne Mosshas also come aboard to reprise her role fromJessica Jonesas lawyerJeri Hogarth, to Danny Rand with help as he returns to New York. She also appeared in the Season 2 finale ofDaredevil. TheIron Fistcast also includesJessica Henwickas Colleen Wing,David Wenhamas Harold Meachum,Jessica Stroupas Joy Meachum andTom Pelphreyas Ward Meachum.

Aside from Carrie-Anne Moss}' Jeri Hogarth, it isn’t known if any other characters from the first three shows will turn up inIron Fist.
Production has already started onIron Fist, but we haven’t seen any photos from the set at this time. It isn’t known if there are more cast members to be announced at a later date, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted with the latest updates.
