More set images from the filming of the upcoming DC sequelJoker: Folie à Deuxhave now emerged and tease the tragic journeyof Lady Gaga’s Harley Quinn. Shared tosocial media, this latest look at the Joker follow-up shows that, much like their comic book counterparts, Quinn and Joker will be “crazy in love” inJoker: Folie à Deux, with a front page of Gotham Examiner revealing that Dr. Harleen Quinzel will join the Joker behind bars. Lady Gagasports a big smile on the front page of the newspaper, as Harleen Frances Quinzel finds herself taking an eerily cheery mugshot after becoming infatuated with the Joker. Thus, it looks like Harley Quinn will follow a similar path to her comic book origin. Created by Paul Dini and Bruce Timm for the critically acclaimedBatman: The Animated Seriesback in 1992, Harley Quinn begins life as Dr. Harleen Quinzel, a psychiatrist at Gotham City’s Arkham Asylum who falls in love with her patient, the Joker, and becomes embroiled in his supervillainy.
Of course, the firstJokermakes several substantial changes to the mythology of the character, containing no Batman or other supervillains. So, expect some adjustments to be made with Harley Quinn as well as the pair fall into a “delusion or mental illness shared by two people in close association” aka a “folie à deux.”

Lady Gaga’s Harley Quinn Look Has Now Been Revealed
We now know what Lady Gaga will look like as the belovedBatmanvillain Harley Quinn inJoker: Folie à Deux.Thanks to several images from set, it has been revealed that theA Star is BornandHouse of Guccistar will sport a pared-down version of Quinn’s classic costume as she dons clown-like make-up alongside a red and checkered ensemble. While the costume is a lot more subtle than how the character is usually depicted in the pages of DC comics, Harley Quinn’s fingerprints are still all over it, with fans no doubt recognizing all the hints and nods towards her comic book look.
Of course, there is also the possibility that this will not be Harley Quinn’s final costume, and her look could become more extreme as she falls ever further into the arms of the Joker.
Directed once again by Todd Phillips from a screenplay he co-wrote with Scott Silver,Joker: Folie à Deuxwill pick up with Joaquin Phoenix as Arthur Fleck aka the Joker. Having been transformed into the Clown Prince of Crime in the first movie, the sequel will find Fleck now imprisoned in Arkham Asylum, where he meets the surprisingly understanding psychiatrist Dr. Harleen Quinzel.Oh, and it will all be told as a musical.
