While he won’t be playing Jon Snow, he does play himself in the trailer forGame of Thrones: Legends, the new free-to-play mobile puzzle RPG game by Zynga. Harington portrayed the role of Jon Snow foreight seasonson Game of Thrones, which lasted from 2011 to 2019 andended in controversial fashion.

To coincide with its release, a new trailer sees Harington as himself sauntering through a pub while revealing his winning strategy. With the success ofGame of Thrones, and its prequel series,House of the Dragon, is there ever a chance that fans could see Haringtonstep back into the boots of Jon Snow once more?It’s not likely to happen anytime soon, as the spinoff series, tentatively titledSnow, that was announced in 2022 is now dead in the water, with Harington himselfstating earlier this yearthat those involved in the project “couldn’t find the right story to tell.”

That’s perhaps for the best, as Harington admitted tostruggling with his mental healthpost-Game of Thrones, and with a spinoff series focusing solely on the adventures of Jon Snow, one wouldn’t want to see him slip back into old habits due to the pressures something like that can bring with it.
