In recent years, there has certainly been a massive uptickin character crossovers. Not only influenced by the massive superhero team-up featured inAvengers: Infinity WarandAvengers: Endgame, but this type of rare occasion was now becoming more mainstream due to the seemingly unlimited crossover possibilities featured in the hit online gameFortnite. Suddenly, all sorts of characters from different franchises are finally having the chance to either fight one another or team up in some sort of spectacular fashion.

A great example of a monumental crossing between worlds occurred in a Warner Bros. animated film that was made in 2019. While straight-to-DVD releases are purposely made that way to bolster sales,Batman vs. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtleswas an overnight success. More recently, another two franchises that decided to cross the forbidden door were Mystery Inc. and another well-known very frightened canine.Straight Outta Nowhere: Scooby-Doo! Meets Courage the Cowardly Dogsaw theiconic animals and their sidekickstake on Courage’s most terrifying villains which included Katzs and duck Le Quack. The tradition is not ending anytime soon as Warner Bros. has come up with the wildest of crossovers that will be released on video soon.

Release Date

While there is no set release date confirmed just yet, fans of both the DC super team and the skilled huntresses of Remnant won’t have to wait that long as Part One of this wild collision of two worlds will be available sometime in Spring 2023. There is no word so far concerning when Part Two should arrive either on store shelves or digitally.

Everything Else We Know

This might come as a visual shock for some but as opposed toRWBYcharacters becoming more colorized and bright which would be in tune with DC-centric stories, the comic book heroes will be attuned with a more computer-generated and cel-shaded feel for the world of Remnant instead. Not only being cosmetically different based on their age swapping, but all the Justice League characters will also have moreRWBYuniverse-centric outfits.

A young version of Superman and Batman fighting alongside warrior heroines from another world was certainly not on anyone’s bingo card for 2023 but is still certainly welcome by both comic book fans and anime enthusiasts alike.
