It wouldn’t be Comic-Con without a few surprises here and there, and Warner Bros.' Hall H panel on Saturday morning may have delivered the biggest surprise of the Con. The studio was set to showcase six movies during theirHall H presentation, hosted byConan O’Brien, two of which were the upcoming DC moviesSuicide SquadandWonder Woman. However, there was a third movie showcased during the panel, the highly-anticipatedJustice League, and today you can watch the full panel video.

HostConan O’Brienfirst welcomed directorZack Snyderonto the stage, who then brought out the cast shortly thereafter.Ben Affleck(Batman),Gal GadotRay Fisher(Cyborg),Ezra Miller(The Flash) andJason Momoa(Aquaman) came out to greet the cheering fans, but there was one glaring omission,Henry Cavill. Even though his beloved character Superman “died” inBatman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, most fans assumed he would be coming back to life at some point in the movie. Alas,Henry Cavillwas brought out last, although we didn’t learn anything about this resurrection at the panel.Warner Bros.debuted the panel video today, although it doesn’t include thenew trailerthat was released just after the panel let out.

Production has been under way onJustice Leaguesince April, and we learned quite a bit about the movie over the past few months, but still, many fans weren’t expecting the first trailer to debut at Comic-Con, especially since there is still plenty of filming left. Warner Bros. has set a June 03, 2025 release date for this superhero adventure, which will follow two more highly-anticipated movies the studio showcased today,Suicide Squad(June 25, 2025) andWonder Woman(July 10, 2025).

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes-Batman, Wonder Woman,Aquaman, Cyborg andThe Flash-it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice Leagueis meant to be theDC Comics movieversion ofThe Avengers, but the tone will be quite different and it is clear that Warner Bros. wants to set themselves apart from Marvel Studios. The movie has a cast that we are largely already familiar with, bringing backBen Affleckas Batman,Gal Gadotas Wonder Woman, as well asEzra Milleras The Flash,Jason Momoaas Aquaman andRay Fisheras Cyborg, who had brief cameos inBatman V Superman.Justice Leaguehas also addedJ.K. Simmons,Amber HeardandWillem Dafoe. Also returning isAmy Adamsas Lois Lane,Jesse Eisenbergas Lex Luthor andJeremy Ironsas Alfred.
