Justice League Adds Willem Dafoe, Who Is He Playing?

Today, we have word fromTHRthat iconic actorWillem Dafoehas joined the project. Though, at this time, DC Comics and Warner Bros. are keeping his key role under wraps.

The immediate thought was thatDafoewill play one of the main villains in the movie. There has been no confirmation on whom theJustice Leaguewill square off against next November. But there have been constant rumors that bothDarkseidand Brianiac will show up. IsWillem Dafoeplaying one of these iconic DC villains? Nope. According to this new report,Dafoeis playing one of the good guys in a role that has him appearing in bothJustice Leaguemovies. There’s no guess who that may be at this time.

Justice League Part 1 reunites theDawn of Justicecast, withBatman(Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), the Flash (Ezra Miller) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) back together for another action-packed adventure. At this time, there are no plot details to report. The movie will revolve around this team, brought together by Bruce Wayne, as they gear up to fight the biggest threat the world has ever seen. Each superhero will be able to use their distinct powers to help win the battle.

Willem Dafoeis no stranger to comic book movies. Or the villains that inhabit them. He famously played Green Goblin in directorSam Raimi’s 2002Spider-Man. This time out, it sounds like he will be helping Batman and his super friends out of a jam.
