Back in November, we reportedthat composerHans Zimmerwill team up withJunkie XLto provide the score for Warner Bros.' highly-anticipatedDC ComicsadaptationBatman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. With post-production currently under way,MTVcaught up withHans Zimmeron the Oscars red carpet, where he revealed that he hasn’t quite begun work on the score yet. He also talked about providing the individual themes for incoming heroes such asJason Momoa’s Aquaman andGal Gadot’s Wonder Woman. Here’s what he had to say, revealing that he already has a couple of ideas in mind for the entireBatman v Superman: Dawn of Justicesoundtrack:
“I have one day off and you guys have to go right to the unwritten score. No, I’ve got an idea. I’ve got a couple of ideas.”

Last week, fans finally got their first glimpse atJason Momoa’sAquaman, who is believed to make his first appearance inBatman v Superman: Dawn of Justicealongside fellowJustice Leaguemembers Superman (Henry Cavill), Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), The Flash (Ezra Miller) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher). When asked if he is working on individual themes for these heroes already,Hans Zimmerhad this to say, pretty much confirming that Aquaman will make his debut appearance in the upcoming DC Comics adventure:
“I’m trying, I’ll put it that way. We’re in early days. But yes, of course, ideally that’s what you want to do.”

When asked if he plans on coming back to scoreJustice Leagueand all of the other stand alone superhero movies that will follow,Hans Zimmerhad this to say, while confirming thatJunkie XLwill work on the Batman themes, because of his history withChristopher Nolan’sThe Dark Knighttrilogy.
“Look, the studio is going to hedge its bet, if I ruin this one… And at the same time you have to remember I come from ten years of doing Batman, so it’s really important to me not to betray the work we did with Chris. It’s reinventing it, and the way I’m reinventing it is by not doing the Batman part. I’m getting my friendJunkie XLto do the Batman part, so it’s a bit of a different tone.”
