Dwayne Johnsonmay have left behind his title as the king of the box office in recent years, but he’s still dominating Netflix’s Top 10 thanks to a seemly forgotten action thriller from 2013, Snitch, which was not so well received when it debuted in cinemas a decade ago.
Despite some heavily criticized projects, The Rock has become one of the biggest names within Hollywood, especially when it comes to huge blockbusters. However, in the last couple of years, many of his movies have not performed as expected at the box office, with many even flopping thanks to their huge budgets - a large portion of which is attributed to the actor’s fee. When it comes to his older movies arriving on streaming platforms, though, it is a whole different story.

Red Notice, which he starred along some of the two other major stars from the platform, Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot, is currently the most watched original movie on Netflix. Now, a not-so-popular film from 2013 starring the ever-busy actor has entered theGlobal Top 10 of English-language moviesfor the week of August 28 through September 3.
Snitch, which was directed by Ric Roman Waugh, follows the story of a father that works for a construction company and has to face a terrible reality when his son is sentenced to 30 years in prison for being involved in a drug trafficking case. To save him, the man strikes a deal with a lawyer and offers to infiltrate a powerful and dangerous drug network to help the DEA. His mission is to transport merchandise in order to reveal the whereabouts of Malik, the leader of the criminal group.
The film also starred Susan Sarandon, Jon Benrthal, Barry Pepper, Michael Kenneth Williams, Rafi Gavron, and David Harbour among others.
