Marvel Studios has officially begun principal photography in Los Angeles, California, onCaptain Marvel. The production is shooting in and around the L.A. area, which will also serve as the base for this latest Marvel adventure. The cast and crew were seen inOxnard, California over the weekend shooting a carnival scene, which is just north of Los Angeles. The Oxnard set was where the very first pictures of Jude Law were snapped. The team will also shoot on location in Fresno, California, as well as other locations in Louisiana, including Baton Rouge and New Orleans. Along with the official announcement, Marvel Studios provided the first official image of Brie Larson as Carol Danvers, as well as big cast update.
The picture ofBrie Larsonwas taken when she visited Brigadier General Jeannie Leavitt, 57th Wing Commander, on a recent trip to Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada to research her character,Carol Danvers, akaCaptain Marvel. The shot is pretty close to the unofficial leaks from the Air Force base that fans saw over the summer. However, that’s not the most exciting part about this latestCaptain Marvelnews.
Captain Marvelwill feature the return of Clark Gregg’s Agent Coulson, which ishuge news for Marvel fans.
