Ahead of its upcoming release in theaters and on demand, we have an exclusive clip to premiere for the new filmLife Upside Down. The film is a rom-com following three couples trying to make the best of a bad situation at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. Our clip features a manicBob Odenkirk(Better Call Saul) as an art gallery owner making a call to Danny Huston (Succession), hoping to make an art sale to make some quick cash. Life Upside Down, which premiered at the 2022 Venice Film Festival, was written and directed by Cecilia Miniucchi. Along with Odenkirk and Huston, the film also stars Radha Mitchell (London Has Fallen) and Rosie Fellner (The Trip to Italy). Per IFC Films, the movie is described as a “slice-of-life film that follows three couples as they navigate relationships in a digital age.” As the synopsis reads:

Life Upside Down is a romantic comedy about time, distance, and the human condition. Three couples, connected by friendship, love and work, are each stuck in their respective homes in Los Angeles during the beginning of lockdown. Finally forced to face their spouses, friends, lovers, and eventually themselves head on, their lives turn slowly but surely upside-down.

Miniucchi also served as a producer onLife Upside Downalongside Jeffrey Coulter, Carl F. Berg, Jason Rose, Rose Kuo, and Radha Mitchell. Its executive producers include Fred Roos, Paolo Rossi Pisu, Marta Miniucchi, Holley Heitz, Antoni Stutz, Anna Hatzis, John Hatziz, and Desmond Nakano.

Life Upside Down Marks Bob Odenkirk’s Latest Outing

The film’s release follows the recent Critics' Choice Award win for Bob Odenkirk, who nabbed the award for his acclamed role inBetter Call Saul. Though that series ended last year, the actor is keeping just as busy, as he’sset to lead the upcoming AMC seriesLucky Hank, set to arrive in March. On the film side, there have also been reports that Odenkirk will return for a sequel toNobody, the hit action film starring the actor that was released in 2021.
