PerDeadline,Hollywood iconSharon Stoneis in talks to join the hit drama’s cast. According to the publication, a formal announcement of Stone’s involvement in Season 3 will follow “the closing of her contract.” Details surrounding who Stone would portray have not been revealed.
Stone is an actress and producer whose career spans decades. She rose to fame for her work in the 1992 erotic thrillerBasic Instinct, earning a Golden Globe nomination for her portrayal of Catherine Tramell. Stone received further critical praise for her performance in Martin Scorsese’sCasino(1995), winning the Golden Globe Award and an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress. In 2004, she won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series for her appearance inThe Practice.
