Kellan Lutz though is working hard to carve himself out a career as an action hero, withDue Justicejust one of several projects in the pipeline for the actor. As well as waging a one man war inDue Justice, Lutz will team up with hisTwilightco-star Cam Gigandet (Never Back Down, Shrapnel) forDesert Dawn.
Directed by Marty Murray, who is best known for his stunt work on the likes ofPower Book IV: ForceandAvatar,Desert Dawnfollows a newly appointed small-town sheriff and his begrudging deputy who find themselves tangled up in a web of lies and corruption involving shady businesspeople and the cartel while investigating the murder of a mysterious woman.
Lutz will see himself promoted from deputy to sheriff inFear of the Woods, another action flick which drops audiences into the snowy mountains during the early 1990s. After a large number of cattle mysteriously disappear, a small group set out to prove whether bears are responsible, or whether it’s nefarious dealings being carried out by the local cattle owner. During the hunt a deep fog creeps in around them, and they are forced to survive attacks from all sides.
