Dragon Ballis attempting to set a Guinness World Record at San Diego Comic-Con. The 2019 World Adventure opens on Wednesday July 17th at an expansive installation on the Marriott Marina Terrace at the Marriot Marquis San Diego. The tour will continue throughout San Diego from July 18th to July 21st and will be open daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The goal? To become the largest gathering of people simultaneously performing the iconic Kamehameha super energy attack move.

FollowingSan Diego Comic-Con, the 2019Dragon BallWorld Adventure will travel to seven additional locations around the world including stops in New York City, Mexico City Mexico, Cologne Germany, Barcelona Spain, Shanghai China, Hong Kong China, and Tokyo Japan. Toei Animation wants as many fans as possible to help backDragon Ballhistory, which shouldn’t be too difficult with Comic-Con going on at the same time. With that being said, there’s always so much to do at Comic-Con, so there will be some competition.

Dragon Ball Comic-Con #1

Fans are expected to gather on Wednesday, July 17th at 3:30 PM at the 2019Dragon BallWorld Adventure on the Marriott Marina Terrace. The first 1,000 participants to arrive on time will receive a freeDragon BallScouter accessory to wear during theGuinness World Recordsattempt. The Kamehameha super energy attack move will be led by actor Sean Schemmel, the English voice ofDragon Ballcharacter Goku. Guinness World Records will be onsite to supervise and validate the record attempt to make sure everything goes according to plan.

Additionally, fans will be able to dive into the world ofDragon Ballwith an expansive collection of multi-faceted interactive installations. Fans will also be able to capture their visit to 2019Dragon BallWorld Adventure with a unique and shareable complimentary memento via the Dragon Ball Animated GIF Photo Booth. If that wasn’t enough, there will also be collectibles and exclusive merchandise on hand for the more hardcore fans. But wait, there’s even more! Fans can collect stickers at each attraction inside theDragon BallWorld Adventure. Stickers may be redeemed for free premiums including Dragon Ball wristbands, posters, lanyards, stickers, fans andSaiyan HairSet headbands.

Toei Animation is going for it this year at San Diego Comic-Con andDragon Ballfans will be able to be a part of history. In Japanese, “Kamehameha” is translated to “Turtle Destruction Wave,” which is a nod to Master Roshi and his abilities. Fans from all over the world will take part in the event and perform the move at the same time. This should all be very interesting to see of Toei Animation is able to pull off this amazing feat.
