Last night, Marvel invited fans to watch a special 15-minuteIMAX previewof their highly-anticipated Phase Three adventureDoctor Strange. Part of this footage included the newStan Leecameo, and while it remains unclear if we’ll get to see these scenes at all before the November 4 release date, new details about this cameo have been unveiled. There may be potential SPOILERS below, so read on at your own risk.

ComicBook.comattended the sneak preview last night, part of which showed an “epic foot chase” withDoctor Strange(Benedict Cumberbatch) andBaron Mordo(Chiwetel Ejiofor). During this chase, they collide into a bus, which is where we seeStan Lee. Here’s a description of the scene below.

“In what looks like one of the most epic foot chases in cinematic history,Doctor Strangeand Mordo are running down streets, up building sides, and across the sky as the world warps around them. AfterKaeciliusbends the building on which Mordo and Strange are running, they fall to the ground and into the side of a bus. As they fall, the camera angle switches to a point of view from inside the bus, revealingStan LeereadingAldous Huxley’s The Doors of Perception. As Strange and Mordo smash into the bus' window,Leebursts out saying, ‘Now, that’s hilarious!’ until the camera swaps again and the chase continues.”

Stan Lee’s cameos have become some of the most anticipated moments in recentMarvel movies. He played a strip club DJ in 20th Century Fox’s Marvel blockbusterDeadpool, and a FedEx delivery man inCaptain America: Civil Warearlier this year. We have plenty more cameos to look forward to as well, with the Marvel Comics legend cranking them out at a torrid pace.

Last month,Kevin Feigerevealed in a Q&A session thatStan Lee’s cameos are never random, and that he recently shot four cameos over one day in Atlanta for “various projects,” with the producer stating that the cameos are all “awesome” and “totally different”.
