Production has been under way onMarvel’s secondPhase ThreemovieDoctor Strangesince November, and we’ve already seen a few photos from the set featuring starBenedict Cumberbatchin costume. Today we have another image from the shoot, courtesy of executive producerLouis D’Esposito, who is pictured alongside directorScott Derricksonand producer Stephen Broussard on the set. A closer look at this image reveals a door in the background that features the Seal of the Vishanti, which could indicate thatDoctor Strangewill feature the Sorcerer Supreme’s Sanctum Sanctorum.

The image also features an artifact in front of the door, which could be the Eye of Agamotto. In theMarvel Comics, the Doctor uses this device to defeat Dormammu. The Sanctum Santorum is a building that was built upon the site of pagan sacrifices, and before that Native American rituals, which is said to be a focal point for supernatural energies. While we don’t have confirmation if this room actually is the Sanctum Santorum, it could also mean that this set is the home ofThe Ancient One(Tilda Swinton).

After a severe accident that leaves both his hands injured and unable to perform surgery, Doctor Strange goes on a trek to find help. He soon encounters the Ancient One. His career thought to be destroyed, the brilliant but arrogant surgeon gets a new lease on life when this sorcerer takes him under his wing.
