To get fans ready for the trailer’s release, 20th Century Fox has put out a “trailer trailer,” whereRyan Reynoldsmocks 20th Century Fox by calling it, “the studio that inexplicably sewed his f—ing mouth shut the first time,' as the actor does his best trailer narrator impression.
Unfortunately, this teaser doesn’t show off any of the actual footage, but it sets the comedic tone right off the bat, withRyan Reynoldsdescribing himself as a “five-time Academy Award viewer.” It still isn’t clear howConanwill get away with airing the red bandDeadpooltrailer, or if it will be the exact same footage that was shown at SDCC. Shortly afterComic-Concame and went,Ryan Reynoldsrevealed that thenew trailerwould debut in three weeks, and the actor was true to his word. It remains unclear whether or not the green band trailer will be attached to prints of 20th Century Fox’sFantastic Fourwhen it hits theaters this weekend.
