CSI: Vegas Continues On CBS

There hasn’t been any indication at this time that Marg Helgenberger plans to leaveCSI: Vegasas William Petersen and Jorja Fox did after season 1. The renewal news also may have fans wondering if there will be any other stars from the originalCSI, or perhaps its other spinoffs, who could show up in season 3 ofCSI: Vegas. Anything is possible, as while Helgenberger originally left the original show after 12 seasons due to burnout, she has found that it feels great to step back into this role for the revival.

“It was interesting because I had played Catherine Willows for so many years. It’s like a part of me,” she toldEW. “In fact, one of the reasons I left the original show is because I felt like it had become too much of my identity. I was really burned out, I just kind of had to step away from that character. It wasn’t that I was done playing her.”

She continued, “So in terms of establishing a camaraderie or an instant chemistry, it was pretty natural, I have to say, and I think it’s because I played this character for so long. It felt great to be back in her boots and her tight jeans.”
