Edith Cushing (Mia Wasikowska) is seeking a “proper welcome” from Lucille Sharpe (Jessica Chastain), the sister of her husband Thomas Sharpe (Tom Hiddleston) in a new clip fromCrimson Peak. While we don’t get anything too scary in this scene,Jessica Chastain’s Lucille Sharpe makes it clear that Edith shouldn’t go into certain parts of the house. We’ll have to wait and see whether or not Edith will heed this warning, as we get closer and closer toCrimson Peak’s October 16 release.

The film is set to hit theaters October 16, going up againstBridge of SpiesandGoosebumpsin wide release. Thishaunted housethriller will also go up against indie films such asRoom,TruthandWoodlawn.
