Amazon Prime has dropped a new teaser trailer for their upcoming romantic drama fantasy seriesCarnival Row. Over the course of Comic-Con last weekend, we saw a couple of character videos from this provocative new entry in the streaming landscape. Now we get to see more from the actual show as the sneak peek sets out to prove that love isn’t dead.

This teaser is set against Billie Eilish’s smash hit single ‘Bury a Friend’, which gives the footage a creepy bit of gravitas and dramatic weight. The show is headlined byOrlando Bloomand Cara Delevingne. We learn that onCarnival Row, different is dangerous, and monsters are very real.

Orland Bloom (Pirates of the Caribbean) and Cara Delevingne (Suicide Squad) star inCarnival Row, a series set in aVictorian fantasy world filled with mythological immigrant creatureswhose exotic homelands were invaded by the empires of man. This growing population struggles to coexist with humans, forbidden to live, love, or fly with freedom.

But even in darkness, hope lives, as a human detective, Rycroft Philostrate (Bloom), and a refugee faerie named Vignette Stonemoss (Delevingne) rekindle a dangerous affair despite an increasingly intolerant society. Vignette harbors a secret that endangers Philo’s world during his most important case yet: a string of gruesome murders threatening the uneasy peace of the Row.
