Buffalo 8has acquired the distribution rights for the investigative crime thrillerAll Gone WrongstarringFinal DestinationandCandyman’sTony Todd. The veteran actor offers a menacing performance as Lamont Hughes, a “boogeyman-like character” in the rural town crime drama. He plays opposite to newcomer Jake Kaufman’s Chris Halvorsen, a veteran law enforcer in pursuit of justice no matter the road it leads him on. The feature premiered during the 2021 St. Louis Film Festival and won a grand total of seven awards, including Best Narrative Feature, Best Cinematography, and Best Production Design, to name a few.All Gone Wrongis slated for a streaming and video-on-demand release on January 27th.
The trailer begins with the unfortunate murder of an undercover cop – Chris’ subordinate – after he’s gunned down in a drug bust gone wrong. Due to the negative fallout of the police operation, Chris is placed on administrative leave, but he cannot let go of the situation. Instead of waiting for the formal internal review to be conducted, he begins an unauthorized investigation into the failed drug deal to uncover what truly happened, no matter the cost. His efforts land him in an unlikely partnership, eventually discovering the pervasive narcotics network beneath the surface of Kewanee, Missouri. The trailer showcases an action-packed descent into the rural town’s underbelly and the secrets that come with it. As the illuminated truth tightens the world around him, Chris must choose to step away or finish the operation in the pursuit of justice for his rookie partner.
