The event was organized in part by Mike Binder, one of Saget’s best friends, who has revealed that Netflix has acquired the footage from the tribute show with plans for a streaming release in June 2022.

Saget had made many friends in comedy, and many familiar faces performed at the show. Very few fans were able to see the event live, and its footage has not yet been released, making the one-off special a valuable acquisition for Netflix.
