11Spider-Man: Homecoming - That Spider-Guy
Spider-Man: Homecomingfeatures a montage of a fifteen-year-old Spider-Man stopping a bike thief, doing a backflip to impress a fan (who later makes an appearance inShang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings), giving directions, and a Stan Lee cameo to the soundtrack of the Ramones' “Blitzkrieg Bop.” The scene captures the joy, humor, and fun watching the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man helping the people of New York. While heroes like Thor and Iron Man are elsewhere, Spider-Man is always looking for opportunities to stand up for the little guy.
10Spider-Man: Homecoming - Vulture and Peter
The life of a superhero may be complicated, but Peter Parker looks forward to the upcoming homecoming dance with his crush, Liz. Unfortunately, Peter discovers that Liz is the daughter ofAdrian Toomes, the Vulture. Peter immediately feels discomfort upon this revelation, and things turn tense when Adrian begins to piece together that Peter is Spider-Man. He threatens to kill Peter (and all of Peter’s loved ones_ if he continues to interfere in Vulture’s activities. The tension in the scene, a fantastic surprise reveal, and the classic Spider-Man struggle of juggling two lives makes this one of the best moments from Tom Holland’sSpider-Mantrilogy.

9Spider-Man: Homecoming - “Come On, Spider-Man”
After being bitten by a spider, Peter receives superhuman abilities. But anyone bitten by the spider would have received those powers. What makes Spider-Man who he is, is Peter Parker’s courage, his willpower and his resolve. Spider-Man is a fifteen-year-old boy trapped under rubble and desperately calling for help. There is no one who can hear or help him but himself. Peter taps in to all of his inner strength to escape the rubble; “come on, Spider-Man.” The scene pays homage toThe Amazing Spider-Man #33, where Spider-Man summons all of his strength to lift the machinery crushing him.
8Spider-Man: Far From Home - Mysterio’s Illusions
Mysterio’s illusions provide some of the best VFX sequences in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe. In theSpider-Mancomics, Quentin Beck is an expert illusionist and master of special effects. Beck’s talents are so impressive that they make him aformidable foe to Spider-Maneven when Quentin Beck does not possess any superpowers. The VFX team successfully translates Mysterio’s talents to the MCU, as he haunts Spider-Man with the ghost of Iron Man, and presenting Spider-Man with a situation where Peter does not know where either he or Mysterio is or what to do.
How hard Spider-Man can punch does not matter if Spider-Man does not know what to punch or where to punch. Mysterio tricks Peter into revealing any people that can expose Mysterio so that he can go after them. While Spider-Man survives the encounter, he ends up losing the fight and being hit by a speeding train.

7Spider-Man: Far From Home - MJ Finds Out Peter is Spider-Man
Mary Jane Watson and Gwen Stacy in Sam Raimi and Marc Webb’s respective franchises need Peter Parker to tell them that he is Spider-Man. Zendaya’s Michelle Jones, on the other hand, is a character with much greater awareness and already suspects Peter is the masked superhero. During a night out in Prague inSpider-Man: Far From Home, MJ receives confirmation that Peter Parker is indeed Spider-Man. She also initially uses Spider-Man to hide her romantic feelings for Peter. First love, knowing a superhero, and being in the crosshairs of a supervillain, both Peter Parker’s and Michelle Jones' lives suddenly become much more complicated.
6Spider-Man: Far From Home - Mysterio Reveals Spider-Man’s Identity
Without a shadow of a doubt, the post-credits scene ofSpider-Man: Far From Homeis one of the most iconic moments inSpider-Manfilm history. That is because the scene reveals Spider-Man’s identity to the world for the first time inSpider-Manfilm history. Tom Holland’s secondSpider-Mansolo film ends with a major cliffhanger whichleads directly intoNo Way Home. The events ofSpider-Man: Far From Homebegin to teach Peter Parker the importance of keeping a superhero life secret. But the blame falls on Talos and Soren (disguised as Nick Fury and Maria Hill), who trust Quentin Beck far too easily and introduce Parker to Beck.
5Spider-Man: No Way Home - Matt Murdock
BeforeHawkeyeandSpider-Man: No Way Home, there was a significant disconnect between the Marvel series on Netflix and the films set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Neither Jessica Jones, the Punisher, Luke Cage, Daredevil, nor Iron Fist crossed over with the Avengers despite the movies' narrative impact on the Netflix series. The reasoning is due to an odd relationship between Marvel Studios and Marvel Television, two separate teams that worked on different projects. In 2019, an announcement was made that Marvel Television would be shut down and folded into Marvel Studios.
Fans ofDaredevilare able to notice thesurprise appearance of Daredevilhimself, Matt Murdock, inSpider-Man: No Way Home. After Peter is revealed to be Spider-Man, Murdock gets the charges against him dropped. Murdock also showcases his incredible reflexes when he catches a brick thrown through the window before Spider-Man.

4Spider-Man: No Way Home - “With Great Power, There Must Also Come Great Responsibility”
The message of power and responsibility being intertwined is at the heart of Spider-Man. Uncle Ben is traditionally the character to remind Peter of that on his journey to becoming a superhero. Distancing itself from the two previous Spider-Man series, Uncle Ben does not appear and is hardly mentioned in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, Tony Stark/Iron Man becomes a mentor to Peter and dies before Peter becomes a fully-realized Spider-Man.
InSpider-Man: No Way Home, Peter loses another parental figure when Aunt May dies during an attack by the Green Goblin. Before she passes, May tells Peter: “With great power, there must also come great responsibility.” Being a hero and fighting for what is right comes at a cost, which Peter quicky realizes. Ultimatel, he decides to accept what he and May view as a moral obligation to help and protect those in need.
3Spider-Man: No Way Home - “Peter 1, Peter 2, Peter 3”

Garfield’s Spider-Man confesses that the loss made him vengeful and bitter, to the point of him no longer pulling his punches.The Amazing Spider-Man 2originally features Spider-Man nearly killing Harry Osborn after Osborn kills Gwen Stacy.
Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin, who controls the mind of Norman Osborn, threatens the life of MJ during his time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Tom Holland’s Spidey fails to save MJ when the Goblin attacks him while on the Goblin Glider. Peter 3 (Andrew Garfield) is able to save MJ from falling to her death. While Spider-Man/Peter 3 is unable to save Gwen Stacy in his universe, he manages to save the MJ of another universe in time.
