Most trailers don’t debut until six months before the release of any given movie. That is usually the industry standard. Some movies are the exception, with Disney and Lucasfilm releasing an 88 second teaser forStar Wars: The Force Awakensa full year before its release in theaters this December. If a new rumor is correct, we’ll get the firstBatman v Superman: Dawn of Justiceteaser trailer a full year and three months before it hits theaters in March of 2016. Though, there is no confirmation from Warner Bros. or DC that this is actually happening next month.

Trusted rumor source El Mayimbe fromLatino Reviewclaims that the firstBatman v Superman: Dawn of Justiceteaser trailer is set to arrive in theaters with Warner Bros.‘Jupiter Ascendingon February 6. That delayed sci-fi adventure from theWachowski Starshipcould use any boost it can receive, and attachingBatman v Superman: Dawn of Justiceto the front of it can’t hurt ticket sales, especially if its a theater only release. Though, ifStar Wars: The Force Awakensis any indication, the teaser will arrive online and in theaters on the same date. That is pure speculation, though.

WhileBatman v Superman: Dawn of Justiceonly wrapped principle photography last month, announcing the end of production on December 5, that still gives directorZack Snyderample time to put a teaser trailer together. Especially considering footage was shown during Comic-Con 2014. There was speculation that theBatman v Superman: Dawn of Justicetrailer would debut during Super Bowl 2015. Debuting it in front ofJupiter Ascendingwill be cheaper for the studio, and it will bring some added awareness toJupiter Ascending. So, this latest rumor may be right on the money:
