Fans who attended New York Comic Con over the weekend got to see the first look at the newanimatedmovieBatman: Bad Blood, which is expected to debut on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD formats in early 2016. In case you couldn’t make it to NYCC at the Javits Center last weekend, the new episode ofDC All Accesshas revealed the first trailer for the latest DC Universe Original Movie. The web series also spoke withJason O’Mara, who provides the voice of Batman, who helped break down the plot.
“Basically, it picks up withBatmankicking ass, as he does, and gets a little out of his depth. I’m just going to tell you what happens. Batwoman comes along, and basically messes everything up. No, she doesn’t, but she’s using guns, and that’s not really Batman’s thing. She gets herself into a little bit of trouble, and Batman sacrifices himself, in order to save her, and is never seen from or heard from again. That is the opening two minutes.”
The supportingvoice castincludes Stuart Allan asRobin,Sean Maheras Nightwing, James Garrett as Alfred Pennyworth andMorena Baccarinas Talia al Ghul. New casting additions includeYvonne Strahovskias Batwoman, Gaius Charles as Batwing andErnie Hudsonas his father Lucius Fox. Damien comes back from the monastery, where he’s trying to find himself, Nightwing has been trying to fill the shoes of Batman, but not doing a very good job, and, along the way, Luke Fox, who ends up being Batwing, and also Batwoman, join the fray, and they try to solve the mystery of what happened to Batman.”
