While some fans are getting ready for the release ofMarvel’sAnt-Manin just a few weeks, others are still checking outAvengers: Age of Ultronin theaters, which has amassed a whopping $1.37 billion at the worldwidebox officeafter two months. Earlier this week, concept artistAndy Parkshared some of his early designs for the villainous Ultron on hisFacebookpage. Here’s what he had to say about the artwork.

“Finally getting around to posting some of theAvengers: Age of Ultronconcepts I did. These are some initial passes done for the big baddie,Ultron. What a crazy fun project to work on! I don’t get to do the more robotic designs that often here given our resident robot experts inRyan Meinerding,Phil Saunders, along withJosh NizziandJosh Herman. But when I do get a chance I just savor the moment. Too much fun!”

The third photo shows the actual approved version of Ultron’s Mark 1 design, which is the form he takes when we first see him in the movie.
