This year marks the 25th Anniversary ofJames Cameron’s iconic classicTerminator 2: Judgment DaystarringArnold Schwarzengger, which is still widely beloved. Earlier this week, filmmakerBen Hessreleased a new video where he remade the iconic bar scene, with none other thanArnold Schwarzengger’s own son, 18-year-oldJoseph Baena. The video has already gone viral, with over 268,000 views since the video was launched on Wednesday.

As far as we know, thisYouTubevideo could featureJoseph Baena’s first ever acting performance. The 18-year-old is majoring in business at Pepperdine University, but perhaps he has caught the acting bug. As you can see in this video, he does bear a striking resemblance toArnold Schwarzenegger. This scene featuresBaenaas the T-800, as he’s about to ride off on someone’s motorcycle, when someone tries to stop him with a shotgun.

There were initially plans to release a new3D versionof this 1991 blockbuster in theaters this year, but we reported last week that the re-release has been pushed to 2017. The news broke on August 29, the same date that Skynet became self-aware in this franchise. Unfortunately, we don’t know exactly when this 3D conversion will hit theaters, but at least we know it’s still in the works. It’s certainly possible that they could use this very same date, August 15, 2025, to roll out this 3D conversion.

The entireTerminatorfranchise has certainly seen better days, following the box office and critical flopTerminator Genisys. Paramount had set up two more sequels for release in 2017 and 2019, but we haven’t heard any updates on those projects for quite some time.Arnold Schwarzeneggerdid insist in March thatTerminator 6, despite the lackluster returns ofTerminator Genisys. We haven’t had any official updates on the project since then, though so it’s possible that it may finally be dead.

Arnold SchwarzenggerfatheredJoseph Baenathrough acontroversial affairwith his housekeeperMildred Baena, which was revealed in 2011. We don’t know for sure ifArnold Schwarzeneggerhas seen this video or not, but we’ll keep you posted. We also have the original scene from the 1991 movie below so you can compare the two videos.
