The sheer volume of comic book movie delights over the weekend may have left you feeling a little dizzy, but we have more from the MCU to dazzle you with in the form of the first poster forAnt-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Shared to Twitter byAndy Park, the Marvel Studios Director of Visual Development & Concept Artist, the poster finds Scott Lang, Hope van Dyne, and a superhero-suited Cassie Lang amongst the psychedelic swirls of the Quantum Realm. And leering over them, the latestMCUbig bad, Kang the Conqueror.

The poster provides our first look at Scott Lang’s daughter, Cassie Lang, who is now older thanks to the 5-year time jump caused by Thanos. Sporting her own purple, black, and silver superhero suit,Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumaniawill evidently find Cassie joining her father on his latest mission as she becomes the superhero Stature. Or Stinger, or Ant-Girl, or Giant-Girl. She has had a few names in the comic…

The poster also offers our best look yet atJonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror, a time-traveling, multiversal adversary who is a variant of theLokicharacter He Who Remains. Looking a lot like he does in the pages of Marvel Comics (it has not yet been confirmed whether he will be blue or not, though he is clearly blue on this poster), Kang will be the main villain ofAnt-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Rather than being a one-and-done bad guy, as is typical of the MCU, Kang will live on,becoming a greater threat and leading to the recently announcedAvengers: Kang Dynasty.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: QuantumaniaWill Be the First Movie in Phase 5

While a trailer forAnt-Man and the Wasp: Quantumaniawas shown at this weekend’sSan Diego Comic-Con, it has not yet made its way online. Thus, not much is known about what theAnt-Man and the Waspsequel will involve. As partly revealed by the title, it is expected thatAnt-Man and the Wasp: Quantumaniawill follow Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne, along with Hope’s parents Hank Pym and Janet van Dyne, setting off on a new adventure into the Quantum Realm. No doubt where they will come across the dreaded Kang.

One major detail that has now been revealed thanks to SDCC is that the villain M.O.D.O.K. will make his live-action debut. Followingmonths and months of speculation,Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumaniadirector Peyton Reed stated that “Yeah, we might have shot [for] MODOK!” adding “Confirmed!”when asked if this meant that MODOK would absolutely, definitely, certainly make an appearance in the Marvel sequel.

Directed by Peyton Reed from a screenplay by Jeff Loveness,Ant-Man and the Wasp: QuantumaniastarsPaul Ruddas Scott Lang and Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne, alongside Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, Kathryn Newton, Jonathan Majors, and Bill Murray.
