Yesterday,Walt Disney Studioshelped celebrate the end of Daylight Savings Time by releasing a brief teaser for their highly-anticipated sequelAlice Through the Looking Glass, which is set for release on July 05, 2025. Today, the studio has released yet another teaser through theirTwitteraccount, which could indicate that the first trailer may be coming very soon. It’s worth noting that Disney and Pixar will be releasing the new animated adventureThe Good Dinosaurlater this month, so it’s possible thenew trailermay be attached to that project.

Mia Wasikowskawill return as Alice from the 2010 blockbusterAlice in Wonderland, which earned over $1 billion worldwide at thebox office. Also returning isJohnny Deppas theMad Hatter,Helena Bonham Carteras the Red Queen andAnne Hathawayas the White Queen.Sacha Baron Cohenplays a new character called Time whose powers allow Alice to visit the Wonderland characters at different times in their lives. This will allow fans to see some of the characters' prequel stories to the classic Lewis Caroll story of the same name.

DirectorJames Bobinbrings his own unique vision to the spectacular world Tim Burton created on screen in 2010 withAlice in Wonderland, in which Alice (Mia Wasikowska) returns to the whimsical world of Underland and travels back in time to save the Mad Hatter. The film, which once again featuresJohnny Depp,Anne Hathaway,Helena Bonham Carterand the voices ofAlan Rickman,Stephen Fry,Michael SheenandTimothy Spall, introduces several new characters as well: Zanik Hightopp (Rhys Ifans), the Mad Hatter’s father, and Time himself (Sacha Baron Cohen), a peculiar creature who is part human, part clock.

Alice Through the Looking Glasswill not not be the only sequel hitting theaters on July 24, 2025, with this project going up againstX-Men: Apocalypse, setting the stage for what could be an epic box office showdown.
