Back in May, we reported thatSeason 2ofMarvel’s Agent Carterwill bring Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) to Los Angeles for a brand new mission. While we wait to learn more about the new season during the show’sComic-Conpanel on Friday, July 10,Entertainment Weeklyhas debuted the newAgent Carter Comic Con poster, which fans will be able to pick up at the Marvel booth (#2329) from Thursday, July 9 through Sunday, July 12. The poster features bothHayley Atwell’s Peggy Carter and her partner Edwin Jarvis (James D’Arcy), with the old Hollywoodland sign seen in the background.
Executive producerMichele Fazekasrevealed that bothPeggy Carterand Jarvis head to the West Coast to help out local law enforcement with an unusual case.

“There’s a case that goes beyond what the LAPD or normal local police would be able to handle that falls into their purview. In Los Angeles, you have the spectacular wealth, glamour and beauty right next to the grit and crime-often right up against each other. We’re very much being inspired by Noir films.”
Executive producerTara Butterssaid shifting the location forAgent Carter Season 2will give the show a whole new look.
“It’s a great place for us location wise, so you can see so many different parts of glamour and grit.”
Peggy and Jarvis will be joined by Agent Sousa (Enver Gjokaj), with the executive producers revealing that deals are being worked out forChad Michael Murray(Agent Jack Thompson),Lyndsy Fonseca(Angie Martinelli) andBridget Regan(Dottie Underwood).Michele Fazekasadded that the writers found an “organic way” to bring Jarvis into this season.
“We have a nice organic way to infuse Jarvis. That was always the challenge. He’s not an agent. The case for the first season is over, so the biggest question for us this season was: We love Peggy and Jarvis together, that’s a really important relationship, how do we keep them together? LA has provided us a really nice, organic way to do so.”
The producer added, though, that, unlike the first season, Jarvis will not be keeping an eye on Peggy at the behest of Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper), even though he isn’t a big fan of L.A.
“She’s not working for Howard in this regard. The nice thing about Peggy this season is she’s not having to hide her agenda from the SSR. [Jarvis] is helping her out, just in a different way. He hates California. He hates palm trees. He does not stop wearing a wool suit.”
Season 2will be comprised of 10 episodes, an upgrade from the eight-episode first season. TheMarvelshow will fill in forMarvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.during its midseason hiatus, although ABC hasn’t issued an official premiere date yet.
