Let’s forget about Marvel’s Captain America, Spider-Man, or Hawkeye for a moment, because a new, superhero-like human has entered the chat.Jason Statham’s Levon Cade from the latest action thriller movieA Working Man, which was written and produced by the greatest action star of all time, Sylvester Stallone. The story is based on Chuck Dixon’s 2014 novel,Levon’s Trade, which has Statham out here single-handedly knocking out 30 bodybuilder-looking guys on a random Tuesday. Sounds impossible? Well, the construction worker, who happens to be a retired black op operative, wouldn’t hesitate to prove it.
Even though Levon left his military career behind after his wife lost her life to depression, and he dedicated his life to his job as a construction worker as well as gaining custody of his young daughter, violence seemed to haunt him even in the furthest corners. When his boss’s daughter, Jenny, vanished, Levon was set on rescuing her, but chasing down the kidnappers and saving Jenny’s life was far from easy. Levon found out that he was going up against the Russian mafia, which led to an epic battle at the end. So, without further ado, let’s look at the ending ofA Working Man.

Jenny was at the wrong place at the wrong time, that’s for sure. Despite her parents' disagreement, she went to a club with her friends, enjoying their time together and dancing the night away. However, a couple of men were roaming around in the background, secretly taking pictures of the group.When Jenny went to the bathroom with her friend and made her way back to the crowd slightly later, she was suddenly abducted by one of the men.
It later became clear thatthey were from the Russian mafia, and she was a victim of human trafficking. The mobsters in the box office success,which left Disney’sSnow Whitein the dust, sent photos of beautiful women to potential clients to let them choose a woman. Once a choice was made, the kidnappers went into action and got ready to deliver the woman and receive their money. Jenny was one of them, as she was chosen by a client who said that she reminded him of a painting at his father’s house.

Did Levon Manage To Save Jenny?
After being kidnapped, Jenny was brought to her first buyer, but instead of accepting her fate, she straight up bit the man’s cheek off. Boiling with anger, the client ordered the two captors to kill Jenny, since she was of no use to him. Luckily, though, he ended up changing his mind and asked them to bring her around for a second time. Before, he was solely interested in using the human trafficking victim as he desired;his new intention was to torture and kill her himself. Jenny was brought to a trap house, where her buyer was ready to cut her open and make her pay for her previous action.
Just before the client took his revenge, an explosion of a grenade caused a commotion. Levon swooped in with his insane skills, fighting his way through to Jenny. There was a lot of shooting and even more gore (which is why Brad Pitt’sFuryshould be next on the watchlist), but Levon managed to reach Jenny.The two of them made their way back out through what looked like a whole battlefield, but as they got on a bike to escape, they were spotted by a surviving Russian. Instead of initiating a fight, though, he was on a phone call with a senior Brotherhood member, who told him to let Jenny and Levon escape. Levon successfully brought Jenny back home, returning to a seemingly peaceful life with family and friends surrounding them.

Will There Be a ‘Working Man’ Sequel?
Maybe (or maybe not) this comes as a surprise, but killing multiple members of the Brotherhoodmightcause some bad blood and could also come with some consequences. As with all ofJason Statham’s best action movies,A Working Manhas the potential for a sequel. Even though Levon managed to leave with Jenny and bring her to safety, the surviving Russian at the scene wasn’t as keen on letting everything Levon did slide. While he was on the phone with one of his mob brothers,he let the listener know that he wanted to hunt Levon down, but was quickly met with resistance. The call in theJason Statham and Sylvester Stallone movieends with the mob boss ensuring the Russian that Levon would simply kill him and that the Brotherhood was more important than hunting down a single man who wouldn’t be an issue anymore.
Even though the surviving mobster accepted the senior Brotherhood member’s stance, he certainly wasn’t happy about it. Upon hanging up, he let his anger out in an agonizing scream, as the emotional pain of losing his brothers was too overwhelming and the desire to avenge them unbearable. The way the man’s face was painted with fury could be an indicator that he would eventually go against his brothers and hunt down Levon to try and kill him. It definitely wouldn’t be too difficult to find the construction site worker, and, considering that Levon has loved ones surrounding him, they would likely be targeted by the Russian mobster as well.A Working Manis playing in theaters.
