Lucasfilm andStar Wars: Force for Change today announced Roar For Change, a global challenge in support of UNICEF. The initiative invites fans and families to share their own version of Chewbacca’s iconic roar. For each public post, like, or , Instagram or Twitter that includes #RoarForChange between May 3 - 25, 2018, Star Wars: Force for Change U.S. will donate $1 to UNICEF USA, up to $1 million. Funds will be used to support UNICEF’s lifesaving work for children around the world....

Disney’sJungle Cruisemovie was previewed at D23 today by Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt. The two playfully gave an overview of the story and revealed what long-time fans of the Disneyland ride can expect when the movie finally hits theaters. Johnson sailed into the large hall riding a wheeled river boat, which earned him a standing ovation from the crowd. The movie has “romance, big comedy, big action, and most importantly, me,” said the actor before showing a trailer....

U.S. antitrust regulators have approved Disney’s $71 billion offer for21st Century Fox’s media assets, meaning that the deal is much closer to being done. It still has to go through approval in many countries overseas and there are a lot of other moving parts, but this is a major step in the right direction for Disney....
